About Wayfare Construction.

Background.

Wayfare Construction was founded in 2019 and operates out of Mildura on the Murray. Acton Hill-Ford served his apprenticeship as a carpenter in Australia and worked across Australia and New Zealand before being registered as a builder.

The model.

Most of Wayfare’s work is self-funded spec homes — the company buys the land, designs and builds the house, and brings it to market on completion. A few projects each year are by referral.

Every project is run end-to-end by Wayfare — site purchase, design, build oversight, and sale.

Qualifications & insurance.

• Registered Builder — Domestic Builder Unlimited. DB-U 100124 (individual) and CDB-U 100482 (Wayfare Construction Pty Ltd).
• Certificate IV in Building & Construction. CPC40110.
• Qualified carpenter.
• Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance carried at all times. Certificates available on request.
• Member, Master Builders Association.
